Here you will find a little bit of information regarding the site visitor counter at the bottom of the page;

• When you visit QueenBoots you start a 'session' which times out after 2 hours of inactivity
• As long as you are active on the site, the session will keep refreshing and the timeout will extend to 2 hours again
• During this entire session, you only count ONCE towards the counter total. This is unlike most sites where every page you visit counts and you will see numbers in the many millions
• After 2 hours of inactivity, or if you closed the browser, a new session is created
• This new session works exactly the same as above and only counts you ONCE
• Finally, closing the browser also resets the entire session. Closing the tab and opening a new one does not reset the session

So, to recap, the visitor counter you see below shows the actual, real, individual visits to the site and NOT how many page views there have been.
